OUR HISTORY
The Full Gospel Mission Cameroon celebrated its 60th anniversary in the year 2022. We want to retrace our steps back to its beginning in 1961. As my wife, Helga, and myself happen to be the founding missionaries of FGMC, let me start with a brief testimony of our early life.
Both of us are Germans and were born shortly before, and grew up as children, during the Second World War. We experienced great hardship as refugee kids, but God held His protecting hand over our young lives, so that we did not suffer any major harm. My wife gave her life to the Lord at the age of 17 and I at the age of 14 during an evangelistic campaign of a Pentecostal church from a neighbouring village.
OUR VISION
"Reaching the Nations...
Reaching the Nations through the preaching of the full and true gospel message by the power of the Holy Spirit; planting New Testament churches; leading Christians to spiritual maturity and preparing them for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Who we are ?
The Full Gospel Mission in Cameroon is a community of evangelical Pentecostal churches whose Christians believe in all biblical doctrines as taught by Christ and his apostles. It is a non-profit organization, officially recognized by Presidential Decree no. 69/DF/154 of April 26, 1969 and Ministerial Order no. 73A/ATF/DAP/LP/I of June 10, 1969.
OUR LOGO
It consists of a vase with a white background, a red flame spouting from the vase, and a black cross above the flame.
The white vase symbolizes the purity that characterizes the life of the Christian (2 Timothy 2:20-21).
The flame symbolizes the fullness of the Holy Spirit, who fills, transforms and equips lives with His power. (Acts 2:1-4; Ephesians 5:18).
The Cross symbolizes the perfect saving work of Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross, which forms the very foundation of the Gospel (1 Corinthians 1:18, 23 – 24; 1 Corinthians 15:3 – 4).
