No others Christ – No others Gospel – No others Spirit
Our Communication, department
HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION
The history of the Communication Department began between 1990 and early 2000, with the preaching of the Gospel on local radio stations, first in Bamenda and later in other towns. The first broadcasts were time-shifted broadcasts of pre-recorded segments from our studio on the campus of the Institut Biblique du Plein Evangile in Bamenda. Early radio preachers included Rev. Mbiwan Daniel, Rev. Tembi Alfred, Rev. Tite Aime Deugoué, Rev. Embom Clement, to name but a few, with technical assistance from Brother Kaah Abel in the analog era, and Rev. Deugoué in the digital era. After success in radio ministry, the pioneers also explored television ministry, producing and broadcasting on urban TV stations. Then, over time, the idea of giving MPEC online visibility as well as other means of communication was born, in order to communicate in real time, both internally and with the general public.
The Department has also embraced mass communication through channels that can reach the maximum number of users. The department now has several communication services or avenues such as: 1. Radio communication (GBN; CRTV; Community Radios, etc.) 2. Communication via the Internet and social networks (Facebook page, YouTube, etc.). 3. Magazine communication (The Clarion Call) 4. Online TV communication (WebTV coming soon) 5. A printing plant – Gospel Press Bamenda
